I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with advanced-training in providing psychotherapy to individuals who find themselves at a crossroads or life transition.

My work in community-based social service organizations and hospitals, and with individuals and families in my private practice led me to develop a specialty, which I call Care Consultations. This combines vital elements of care assessment, care planning, identification of resources, and supportive therapy.

I have a Master’s Degree in Social Welfare from the University of California, Berkeley, with special study in the field of Aging; and am licensed by the State of California to practice psychotherapy.

I have taught in the graduate programs at UC Berkeley, School of Social Welfare, and San Francisco State University.
